IBTM America Names New Event Director

Jaime Rosov

In June, the Americas Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition (AIBTM) announced a new name: IBTM America. Now, the annual meetings-industry event also has a new director, according to organizer Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE), which yesterday announced the appointment of Jaime Rosov as IBTM America's new event director.

Rosov, who has worked on several of Reed Exhibitions' large-scale U.S. events -- including the National Hardware Show, PGA Shows, JCK Shows, ReedPOP group and ISC, among others -- replaces Michael Lyons, who is leaving his post to pursue a new, entrepreneurial career as a full-time speaker and actor.

"We thank Mike Lyons for his significant contribution to the success of AIBTM and wish him continued success with his new endeavors," IBTM Global Events Portfolio Director Sallie Coventry said in a statement. "Meanwhile, we are delighted that Jaime Rosov, who has worked on the show for the past two-and-a-half years, and is a nine-year veteran of Reed Exhibitions, will now lead the team. As we roll out the new model for IBTM America, Jaime's considerable experience will be invaluable."

Added Rosov, "The opportunity to manage the new look and feel of IBTM America is very exciting. Our team is committed and focused on making this new dynamic trade show concept a success for all our stakeholders."

The first IBTM America will take place June 9-11, 2015, in Chicago.
