The Event Leadership Institute (ELI) has launched a new web site with on-demand training programs produced especially for event and meeting planners. Information is presented in a quick, ‘get-to-the-point’ format that allows for easy navigation to get the key information needed when planning conferences, meetings, and other industry events.
Launched this week with 25 courses that are broken down into 250 micro-learning sites, professionals can access information that ensures they are up-to-speed on the nuances of topics ranging from: event management including event design, production schedules, catering, insurance, speakers and entertainment; event business ownership including pricing, prospecting, accounting, and brand building; venues and destinations including destination management, alternative venues, and contract negotiations; technical production ranging from all technology, inside-the-booth to virtual events; strategy and ROI including employee engagement and what’s next in events.
The video courses are presented by high-profile event organizers and many courses are qualified for Continuing Education Credits for the CMP (Certified Meeting Planner) program. Go to

ELI was founded by event industry pioneer Howard Givner, creator of the mobile event planning app Super Planner. Givner is also the founder of NYC event company Paint The Town Red, which he ran for 20 years before selling it to the Global Events Group, the 13th largest event agency in the world.
