TBA Global Names David Kahn EVP, Destination Management Sales

New York-based destination management company TBA Global has selected David Kahn as its new executive vice president of destination management sales. Kahn is an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in the event and hospitality industry, including seven at PGI, which TBA Global acquired in 2005.

"David has made a career of putting clients first and innovating the customer experience," TBA Executive Vice President of Destination Management Kathy Papadimitriou said in a statement, "and we are thrilled he is back on our team and working with me to continue to build our rapidly growing business."

Upon leaving PGI, Kahn founded his own Denver-based communications agency that provided consulting services to hospitality and event marketing companies. In his new role at TBA Global, he will lead sales and business development activities for each of TBA's 18 offices, which collectively cover 22 North American destination markets, including Arizona, Chicago, Detroit, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C., among others.

"I believe a national DMC footprint is the future of this industry," Kahn said in a statement. "It is absolutely essential for our clients, especially in these challenging economic times. With destination management offices covering 22 locations in North America and Europe, TBA Global is well-positioned to be a turn-key partner, providing local resources and expertise to create exciting and effective brand events."
