Digital event provider bXb Online has reorganized itself as bXb Group LLC, a holding company consisting of BOB.tv and Culture22 Communications, the company announced this month.
Scheduled to launch at the 2013 ASAE Annual Meeting & Expo in August, BOB.tv — Best of Business Television — is an online network of aggregated video content, organized by industry, that’s currently in late-stage development. Culture22, meanwhile, is a marketing communications and interactive technology company newly acquired by bxb.
“Since first working with Culture22 and its founder Gretchen Eckland on the Chicago 2016 Olympic bid, I have admired the caliber of work and the manner in which it's delivered to world-class BtoB and BtoC brands — from Toyota and Unilever, to Hitachi and [the] American Society of Plastic Surgeons,” bXb Online founder Tony Lorenz, CEO of bXb Group, said in a statement. “I am very pleased to present BOB.tv and now Culture22 as aligned brands of bXb Group, driving our clients and users to higher ground in their respective marketplaces.”
Added Gretchen Eckland, president of Culture22 and CCO of bXb Group, “I couldn’t be happier about joining Tony and bXb Group. I’m passionate about the BOB.tv vision and thrilled to be acting as its creative engine. On the agency side, incorporating the bXb Online digital event practice is an incredible pairing with Culture22’s integrated creative and interactive technologies. This combination will deliver extraordinary opportunities and value to our existing and growing client base.”
