Virtual events provider Unisfair has formally launched a new channel program targeted at digital advertising agencies and event planners, who can now partner with the company in order to resell its virtual events platform to their own clients as an alternative to physical events.
By offering its virtual environment to their clients, Unisfair says digital marketers and traditional event planners alike can expand their service offerings and therefore pursue new revenue opportunities online, even as the market for offline meetings continues contracting under the weight of the down economy.
"Demand for Unisfair's technology solutions grew substantially in 2008 as the number of virtual events hosted by Unisfair customers grew over 200 percent," Unisfair CEO Guy Piekarz said in a statement. "Building this ecosystem will enable us to meet the rapidly increasing demand being driven by economic challenges, globalization and travel reductions."
Unisfair's new channel program offers both reseller and referral partnership opportunities and includes tools to help event planners sell, market, train and troubleshoot the company's virtual events platform, the latest version of which—released earlier this month—includes enhancements to help event organizers brand and customize their virtual experiences.
