Audience response company Turning Technologies has released a new version of its flagship polling product, TurningPoint, it announced yesterday.
According to the company, the latest iteration of TurningPoint includes a dashboard interface that gives users instant management of polling, participants, content, sessions and reports. It also incorporates the ability to poll natively in PowerPoint for Mac, making it the industry’s first and only cross-platform solution offering native PowerPoint polling for both PCs and Macs.
“Turning was founded on the ability to offer the most reliable, cost-effective and advanced products in the industry. Keeping those goals in mind has led us to become the unquestioned global leader, manufacturer and distributor of response technology,” CEO Mike Broderick said in a statement. “We are the only company in the industry to offer native PowerPoint polling integration on both PC and Mac operating systems. With the new release of TurningPoint, we have added a level of sophistication and capabilities that packages our desktop applications into the easiest-to-use solution for both novices and experienced users alike.”
Meeting planers who deploy TurningPoint at their events can equip meeting attendees with handheld response devices, then poll them instantly in order to collect real-time responses, which are displayed on screen and collected in detailed reports for analysis.
