Philadelphia-based StarCite, Inc. announced yesterday that Michael Boult, currently president and chief executive officer, is stepping down from his position effective March 18. Keith Forshew, chief operating officer, has been named the interim leader while a search is completed for a new president and CEO. Mr. Boult will remain a member of the StarCite board of directors.
"Mike has done a terrific job as CEO. He was hired to lead StarCite's expansion and position the company for future growth and he succeeded at accomplishing both of those goals," said Doug Alexander, member of StarCite's board of directors. "Over the course of the past year, StarCite has bolstered its global executive team in all operational areas and is well-positioned to handle a leadership transition."
Forshew, who joined the company in May 2007, said it is "clear that the momentum for strategic meetings management and StarCite's solutions only continues to grow."
