Meetings industry software provider MeetingMatrix International has introduced a new suite of Web 2.0 tools for event venues that want to virtually interact in real time with meeting planners. The suite, known as MeetingMatrix LIVE!, will allow venues to distribute meeting room diagrams online, collect electronic sales leads and communicate virtually with meeting planner clients.

According to MeetingMatrix, planners who access meeting room diagrams via MeetingMatrix LIVE! will be able to avoid traveling to and touring property sites for the purpose of taking venue photos and evaluating spatial set-ups. Instead, they'll be able to access detailed floor plans and diagrams online through portals that include top industry Web sites, such as that of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA)
