Since releasing its mobile app, the number of attendees logging into its virtual events platform from their mobile devices is up 100 percent on Android devices and 250 percent on Apple devices, virtual events provider INXPO reported last week.
"I expect to see this growth in mobile continue," said INXPO Co-Founder and CEO Drew VanVooren. "In fact, as more of our clients adopt mobile, I think these growth rates can increase another 10 [times]. It won't be long before we see mobile logins eclipse those from desktop computers. Event attendees will become more and more accustomed to this sort of mobile TV viewing."
INXPO released its mobile app for Apple and Android devices in December. Using it, event attendees can log into the company's virtual events platform from their mobile devices and enjoy the same functionality as desktop users.
Said INXPO CEO Malcolm Lotzof upon the app's release, "As computing shifts to mobile devices, I expect the INXPO mobile suite to benefit attendance rates at our clients' events. With this complete user experience made available to mobile users, being out of the office is no longer a barrier for attendance."
