INXPO Launches New DIY Webcasting Tool

INXPO, a Chicago-based provider of webcasting and virtual events technology, has launched a new tool to accompany its Social Business TV (SBTV) platform, it announced today. Called "Program Builder," it's designed to help INXPO's clients and their speakers easily create and edit their own webcasts with a step-by-step process using their computer's webcam.

"Businesses today are either already webcasting and using a tool with administrative controls that are too complicated, or aren't webcasting at all due to the technical hurdles that they perceive," said INXPO CEO Malcolm Lotzof. "We want to take the struggle out of webcasting and allow presenters and program managers to set up a SBTV webcast in minutes. The new Program Builder eliminates the pain points of administering a webcast and provides a simple process for immediate audience engagement within the SBTV environment."

SBTV integrates traditional webcasts with interactive components such as polls, trivia, group chat and surveys, as well as social media, to improve audience engagement and enhance audience learning. With Program Builder, speakers and staff can easily upload PowerPoint presentation decks, activate interactive features, attach documents and links for participants to view, view real-time session metrics and invite viewers via their corporate email client.
