Harrah's Uses New Tool to Customize Sales Collateral for Las Vegas Planners

Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment has announced the launch of its digital Custom Sales Kit Generator, an online application that allows its Las Vegas-based sales force to customize from anywhere event collateral for meeting planners who are headed to the Strip.

With Harrah's new Internet-based tool, salespeople booking events at seven Las Vegas properties—including Bally's Las Vegas, Caesar's Palace, Flamingo Las Vegas, Harrah's Las Vegas, Imperial Palace Las Vegas, Paris Las Vegas and Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino—can log on remotely from virtually anywhere in the world in order to create personalized meeting collateral for individual customers and prospects. With the click of a mouse, they can customize sales kits and everything in them, including introductory letters, brochures and more—all in order to convince planners, one-to-one, that Las Vegas is the best location for their next event.

"We offer a range of options across our seven properties," Michael Massari, vice president of meeting and sales operations for Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment, said in a statement. "With that kind of diversity—not to mention the pace at which our offerings evolve—we needed an innovative way to show planners not just what we could offer, but how we could meet their specific needs on an individual level."

A one-of-a-kind tool within the meetings industry, the Custom Sales Kit Generator was created by Dallas-based software company New Media Gateway exclusively for Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment.

"As far as I know, no one else is creating sales materials on such a custom level," said Lou McErlean, vice president of New Media Gateway's hospitality division. "This is what makes it so unique."
