Event production company Freeman has formed FreemanXP, a boutique experiential marketing agency that will offer integrated event marketing and strategy solutions to new and existing Freeman customers, it announced yesterday.
Consisting of the “marketing solutions group” that Freeman formed in 2012 — encompassing four Freeman businesses: Immersa Marketing, Digital Products, Freeman Creative (formerly ProActive) and EventMark — FreemanXP will specialize in event strategy, experience design, program management, production, digital and social media integration, entertainment marketing and measurement solutions.
“The event marketing world continues to evolve, and as our clients’ needs change and expand, we are evolving to meet their needs,” Freeman CEO Joe Popolo said in a statement. “A year ago, we tapped industry veteran, Chris Cavanaugh as president of this new division. FreemanXP is now a fully realized global practice in direct response to client demand for strategic and creative solutions.”
As part of FreemanXP, Freeman has launched “FXP I cloud” to help its clients expand their reach beyond live events. What Freeman calls a “social engagement platform,” it allows companies to host integrated online events throughout the year in pursuit of an “always on” presence that increases attendance at their live meetings.
“Organizations have a need to connect with audiences year round and through many different touchpoints. Our FXP I cloud offering expands the audience for an organization’s event portfolio through integrated online events that connect and amplify messages 365 days a year,” Cavanaugh said. “The reality is that, with the right strategy and content plan, online events do not cannibalize face-to-face events. We have found that by creating year-round online events that are seamlessly connected to face-to-face events, brands have a real opportunity to extend conversations and convert attendees into customers.”
