Event App Bizzabo Partners with Registration Platforms to Increase Attendee Adoption

Bizzabo, a mobile app that facilitates attendee networking at meetings and events, has established new partnerships to integrate its app with event ticketing platform Eventbrite and event management software company etouches, it announced this week.

The new integrations will allow meeting planners to connect their Eventbrite or etouches registration system with Bizzabo in order to send attendees customized, automated emails as soon as they register for an event. As a result, planners won’t have to work as hard to market Bizzabo to attendees; according to the company, inviting attendees to download the app as an extension of the event registration process increases attendee adoption, which in turn increases the size of the event’s networking community so that attendees get maximum value from using the app.

“Event organizers spend a lot of time and money creating event apps. The problem many of them face is how to spread the word and make their attendees aware of the platform or app in the first place,” Bizzabo Co-Founder and CMO Alon Alroy said in a statement. “This integration helps organizers save time while making attendees more connected to their event. It is another step in making Bizzabo work for you and letting you focus on the success of your event.”

Using Bizzabo’s self-service platform, event planners can create networking apps for their events by leveraging LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to connect attendees. Planners can use the app to share information about their event’s agenda, speakers and sponsors, while attendees can use it to meet fellow delegates. So far, the app has been utilized at more than 3,000 events.
