Electronic RFPs: a Planner-Supplier Dialogue (Webcast)

How to avoid hoteliers and other venue managers ignoring your eRFPs

Electronic RFP tools have revolutionized the way meeting and event planners interact with hoteliers and venue managers, but they are a decidedly mixed blessing.

While these tools have enabled both buyers and suppliers to expand their relationships and have taken much of the time and effort out of the site-selection process, that streamlining has also has also made it too easy to send out too many requests for proposals. Too often, the result is a torrent of RFPs that overwhelms suppliers and creates a barrier to the face-to-face collaboration part of the process.

Join Successful Meetings Senior Editor Leo Jakobson  at 2:00 PM ET on Wednesday, Nov. 8, as he moderates a dialogue between supplier Chris Riccardi, executive vice president of Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI), and planner Kristen Allan, manager of operations and account management for BCD Meetings & Events that will take on the key issues and challenges of integrating electronic RFPs into the site-selection process, and offer best practices on how each side can best manage their end of it.
