Registration technology company CompuSystems Inc. (CSI) of Broadview, Ill., has created what it claims is the meeting industry's first suite of "fully integrated" smartphone apps for exhibitors and attendees, it announced last week.
Designed to integrate with the registration process, the apps — ConnectME Mobile for attendees and CompuLEAD Smart for Exhibitors — feature matching technology that's meant to more effectively unite buyers and sellers.
"CSI has a history of being first to market with innovative registration technology," said CSI Senior Vice President Chris Williams. "This year's release of our smartphone apps is another example. We are very excited about the possibilities these products bring to the buyer/seller experience."
ConnectME Mobile for Attendees, debuting this week at Expo! Expo! in New Orleans, gives meeting attendees the ability to view exhibitors that match their product interests; request, view and manage appointments with exhibitors; browse exhibitor lists; create and view their session agenda; collect electronic exhibitor brochures; and take notes on the trade show floor.
CompuLEAD Smart for Exhibitors, meanwhile, was introduced in June and allows exhibitors to capture sales leads, as well as manage their attendee appointments.
Currently available for Apple's iPhone, both apps will be available for Android and Blackberry in the second quarter of 2011.
