The meetings and events division of Carlson Wagonlit Travel, CWT Meetings & Events, has signed an agreement with meetings technology company Cvent under which it will implement Cvent's cloud-based event management platform across its global enterprise, it announced today.

"Both companies are focused on delivering the best results for clients. Cvent has a track record for partnering with industry leaders and we believe this new agreement represents a great combination, bringing together CWT Meetings & Events' expertise and our innovative technology."
According to CWT Meetings & Events, it will introduce Cvent's solution in a "phased approach" over the next several months, gradually activating it for clients in North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe, who will be able to leverage Cvent's technology for meeting planning, venue sourcing, event management, payment processing, and travel management.
