BidPal Network, maker of handheld bidding devices that enable wireless auction bidding at charitable events, has introduced a new service, it announced yesterday: fully integrated, secure payment processing that automates the "checkout" process at fundraising events.
Called myBidPal Payments, the new service includes a choice of four different solutions that can be used a la carte or all together:
• The SmartPay Cashier Terminal allows organizations to register guests for Express Checkout and, by pre-swiping them, automatically charge credit cards after the event.
• Mobile Wallet Express Checkout allows guests to check out using their BidPal handheld device; at the end of the auction, guests simply enter their credit card information into the device, at which point an electronic receipt is delivered instantly to their preferred email address.
• The Item Pickup Assistant gives event staff instant payment confirmation on their BidPal device by allowing access to guests' payment status and items won. Guests with a balance due may pay via the SmartPay Cashier Terminal or Mobile Wallet Express Checkout.
• The SmartPay Virtual Terminal lets event organizers view payment status, credits and refunds; enter additional sales; manage declined transactions; and re-submit payments via a secure SSL-enabled website. The terminal also includes reporting and analytics features.
