To help trade show marketers reach targeted attendees, the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) has published a new resource, it announced last week: the "Quick Guide on Attendee Preferences by Industry Sector."
Featuring data from CEIR's "What Attendees Want from Trade Exhibitions" study, the five-page report allows readers to quickly identify the shared and unique preferences of trade show attendees in 14 industry sectors. Organized into six visual tables, data include:
• Most important sources relied upon when selecting an exhibition to attend
• Overall reasons for attending
• Specific shopping reasons for attending
• Specific learning reasons for attending
• Extent of pre-event preparation activity
• Floor interaction preferences
"Time is a scarce commodity for today's exhibition executives," CEIR President and CEO Brian Casey said in a statement. "Reliable information is essential to making the right choices to market effectively and deliver the right content to target attendees. This report provides a quick and effective way of understanding the needs and preferences of professionals by industry sector."
