Planners cherish many aspects of their profession

The latest MeetingNews survey confirms the conventional wisdom about the payoff of meeting and event planning as a profession: it’s about relationships, not money.

In answer to the question, "Which aspects of your job bring you the most satisfaction?" relationships topped the list of choices among 309 respondents, at 62 percent, while salary rated last, at less than 10 percent.
