Sam Lippman Launches Invitation-Only Event for Exhibit Sales Professionals

Sam Lippman, producer of the Exhibition and Convention Executives Forum (ECEF), Large Show Roundtable (LSR) and Attendee Acquisition Roundtable (AAR), has created a new invitation-only workshop for exhibit and sponsorship sales professionals, he announced last week.

Called the Exhibit Sales Roundtable (ESR), the event will host 20 salespeople for its inaugural gathering on Feb. 23, 2012, in Washington, D.C., where attendees will participate in networking, education and discussion alongside subject matter experts in a hands-on, interactive format.

"ESR participants will exchange best practices and help solve problems," said Lippman, who will serve as the event's facilitator. "They'll also learn from nationally known experts in exhibit and sponsorship sales and service."

Topics covered at the inaugural ESR will include:

• Innovative exhibit and sponsorship pricing;
• Exhibit space assignment procedures;
• Package value and communication;
• Finding, hiring, motivating and retaining salespeople;
• The pros and cons of outsourcing sales;
• Expanding sales efforts internationally; and
• Non-exhibit floor participation in meeting rooms, outdoor displays and special events.

As with Lippman's other events, ESR participants must qualify to attend. The event is limited to 20 seats and no more than two participants per organization may attend. If approved, the first participant from each organization will be charged $325 and the second $195. Qualified individuals may apply to attend ESR at www.largeshowroundtable.com/ESR.
