With the air travel phase of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) kicking in last month, more and more Americans will be getting a passport. When combined with airline tickets, a driver's license, a health insurance card, credit cards, and all of the other assorted documents that are necessary for travel now, it's a lot to keep track of. So passport holders and travel wallets are a smarter idea than ever, and there are options for everyone—from utilitarian to statement-making, inexpensive to costly.
Not a frequent flyer? Remember that the land and sea border-crossing portions of the WHTI will take effect soon as well, so chances are you'll find yourself with additional travel documents sooner or later. Plus, these make a great gift idea! For Bean Counters
