PMPN Becomes 'Plannernet'

In order to better align its brand with its services, Professional Meeting Planners Network (PMPN) has officially changed its name to Plannernet, it recently announced.

The Durham, N.C.-based company — which gives professional meeting planners "day-of" onsite staff, audio/visual services, logistical support and attendee management — also has introduced a new logo and website.

"PMPN has evolved so much from where it began that it only made sense to come up with a name that incorporates what we have become," said President and CEO James Montague. "We support meeting teams and planners all over the world and we needed our company persona to show how much we've grown from the niche business we used to be."

Added Vice President of Operations Lisa McNutt, "We couldn't be more excited. The changes won't stop here either. In the near future we will be rolling out even more changes that not only look different, but allow us and our clients much more efficiency. From mobile optimization to enhanced on-demand client reporting, this is going to be a year of change for Plannernet."
