PCMA Names Travel Spike Digital Agency of Record

The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) has chosen Atlanta-based Travel Spike as its official agency of record, it announced yesterday.

The agency, which specializes in digital marketing and technology solutions for the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors, will assist PCMA in developing and executing a "comprehensive digital strategy" — including a website redesign, as well as new advertising and promotional opportunities — that will further reinforce PCMA's position in the meetings industry as "the leader in providing high-quality education, innovative resources and networking opportunities."

"PCMA is committed to providing members and attendees with the most valuable content and the latest tools and technologies to maximize their experience within the PCMA online community," said PCMA Chairman Kati Quigley. "In the months ahead, PCMA will be working closely with Travel Spike to execute a comprehensive, digital strategy that will include enhancements to our website, PCMA.org, and all of our electronic communications. We will be paying special close attention to social media where we feel we can add something unique and valuable to the industry. This we believe will really deepen all of our relationships. We invite PCMA members and the industry at large to share your feedback both before and after we launch our new online features."

Added Travel Spike Executive Vice President Howard Koval, "We are truly excited to work alongside an organization that has an incredibly strong track record of making positive and lasting effects on their industry. Since its beginning, PCMA has been successful at establishing itself as the industry resource for the best education and networking. Now, we will be working closely together to advance the cause of PCMA through leveraging the digital channel and social media to more effectively connect with and serve their constituents."
