PCMA Debuts New, Improved Online Learning Portal

The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) has re-launched PCMA365, its online learning center, it announced this week.

According to PCMA, the new version of PCMA365 gives meeting professionals online access to more than 245 archived sessions from past PCMA education sessions, more than 30 archived webinars, the Certified Association Sales Executive (CASE) online course, PCMA white papers and research, and bundled content packages by specialty (e.g., medical meetings, global professionals, etc.).

The organization says the enhanced online portal — which planners can use to earn continuing education units (CEU) applied toward their Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification and/or re-certification — was designed to be “easy to use and easy to search no matter where you are.”

“PCMA365 is a tremendous way for PCMA to showcase the depth of our education and continue to bring more senior-level educational offerings to the global meetings and events industry,” PCMA President and CEO Deborah Sexton said in a statement. “Our new real-time transcript recording gives users live access to their cumulative PCMA CEU records, easing certification applications and continuing education verifications.”
