The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) has selected the slate of candidates for its 2013 board of directors, it announced this week. Pending approval by PCMA members, board nominees will take office effective Jan. 17, 2013.
PCMA's 2013 slate of officers, serving one-year terms, includes:
• Chairman: Johnnie White, Executive Director, Meetings and Educational Services, Cardiovascular Research Foundation
• Immediate Past Chairman: Kent Allaway, Vice President, Meetings and Trade Shows, Produce Marketing Association
• Chair-Elect: Christopher Wehking, Director of Meetings & Exhibits, American Society of Anesthesiologists
• Secretary-Treasurer: Raymond Kopcinski, Sr., Director, Meeting Services, Million Dollar Round Table
New nominees to PCMA's Board of Directors, serving three-year terms, include:
• Professional Director: Martin Balogh, Director of Meetings and Travel, American Bar Association
• Professional Director: Kristin Gibson, Vice President of Sales & Industry Relations, J. Spargo & Associates Inc.
• Professional Director: Mary Pat Heftman, Executive Vice President, Convention, National Restaurant Association
• Supplier Partner Director: Lawrence Luteran, Senior Vice President, Group Sales and Industry Relations, Hilton Worldwide
