The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) has selected the slate of candidates for its 2016 board of directors, it announced last week. Pending approval by PCMA members, board nominees will take office effective Jan. 14, 2016.
PCMA's 2016 slate of officers, serving one-year terms, is:
• Chair: William F. Reed (pictured), FASAE, CMP, Senior Director of Meetings and Community Engagement, American Society of Hematology
• Chair-Elect: Mary Pat Heftman Executive Vice President, Convention & Strategic Alliances, National Restaurant Association
• Secretary-Treasurer: Claire Smith, CMP, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Vancouver Convention Centre
• Immediate Past Chair: Raymond John Kopcinski Sr., CMP, Senior Director, Million Dollar Round Table
New nominees to PCMA's board of directors, serving three-year terms, are:
