Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) -- organizer of the World Travel Market (WTM), the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), and the Incentive, Business Travel, and Meetings (IBTM) portfolio of global MICE events -- has signed a global agreement designating Oneworld as its exclusive airline alliance partner for 2016, it announced yesterday.
The partnership, which is believed to be the largest ever of its kind, will cover a total of 19 RTE events in 2016, taking place in 15 cities and attracting an estimated 100,000 delegates. In exchange for making flight reservations via the Oneworld website, travel professionals attending RTE events will receive discounted fares for themselves and a companion. Meanwhile, Oneworld and Oneworld Events, the alliance's travel solution for the meetings, conferences, conventions, exhibitions, and special events sector, will be prominently promoted at RTE events.

Fifteen of the world's largest airlines, including American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines, and Qatar Airways, just to name a few, are members of Oneworld, which collectively serves more than 1,000 destinations in more than 150 countries.
