Nashville CVB Pledges Support to ASAE's Social Responsibility Initiative

The Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau has pledged $100,000 to social responsibility initiative by the ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership. The initiative is a long-term commitment to develop guiding principles for associations looking to integrate social responsibility into their everyday operations.

"We are very pleased to have our friends at the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau support and share in our commitment to social responsibility," said ASAE president and CEO John H. Graham IV, CAE. "Our community's capacity for addressing some of the critical challenges facing the world today is virtually limitless, but it will take a concerted effort to reach our potential for engagement."

Over the next four years, the Nashville CVB has pledged to make yearly contributions of $25,000. The association is planning its first global summit on social responsibility late next month at a hub site just outside Washington, D.C.
