St. Louis-based sales and marketing company Maritz has launched a new division that will provide incentive travel planning services to individuals and small groups, it announced this week.
Called Maritz Journeys, the new division will build on the company's experience in the group incentive travel market and leverage its existing network of destination specialists to create personalized itineraries geared toward incentive/reward trips and vacation planning. Each experience will be tailored to the traveler's or group's unique interests and specifications, such as length of travel, destination, activities and budget. Examples of potential itineraries include a guided tour of the Vatican or access to a popular Hollywood award ceremony.
"Maritz Journeys has pooled some of Maritz' best resources to create unique travel solutions for individual and small group incentive/reward trips and vacations," said Doug Walbert, general manager of Maritz Journeys. "Maritza deep understanding of people, the travel industry and its significant supplier network enable Maritz Journeys to provide VIP-level service to all of its customers, delivering one-of-a-kind travel experiences that people just can't get on their own."
According to Maritz, Maritz Journeys' team of hand-picked local experts in global offices have experience and buying power that will help them obtain preferred rates, room upgrades and other special offerings at premier destinations. For more information, visit www.maritzjourneys.com.
