Meeting planners who cannot attend its World Education Congress (WEC) this month will be able to access conference content virtually for a limited time by purchasing a Virtual Access Pass, Meeting Professionals International (MPI) announced yesterday.
MPI's WEC 2009 is taking place July 11-14 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Available to MPI members and non-members alike from July 11 until Oct. 15, the Virtual Access Pass will enable on-demand access to hundreds of hours of audio and video educational materials for meeting planners who cannot attend the meeting due to the economic downturn.
Meeting planners can purchase either a Full Access pass, which includes access to WEC general sessions, keynotes and breakouts, or an Opening General Session Only pass, which includes access only to WEC's opening general session. A Full Access pass costs $79 for MPI student/faculty members, $299 for MPI members and $499 for non-members. The Opening General Session Only pass costs $19 for all MPI members and $59 for non-members.
