The International School of Hospitality (TISOH) in Las Vegas has unveiled a new special events design lab, the contents of which will regularly change to showcase new trends in event décor and lighting, it announced this week.
MGM Resorts Events Productions Director of Events Lenny Talarico will oversee creative designs for the lab this year, including the initial design lab roomscape, which features donations from MGM Resorts Events Productions, Chameleon Chair, Classic Party Rentals, kool Party Rentals, Creative Coverings, and Earth Water Sky.
"This is an extraordinary resource for our students," TISOH Executive Director Timothy M. Lam said in a statement. "This provides them a real-world experience where they can learn from the best in the business how to effectively create and design world-class meetings and events."
