The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) will guarantee leads for exhibitors at its upcoming Affordable Meetings Mid-America conference, taking place April 14 and 15 in Chicago, it announced this month.
Fully paid exhibitors in good standing will receive a list of at least 25 qualified meeting and event planner buyers no later than seven days prior to the first day of exhibits, according to HSMAI, which said the leads will be prioritized by relevance, as defined by attendees at the time of registration.
"We are confident that Affordable Meetings delivers results for exhibitors," HSMAI President and CEO Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHA, said in a statement. "This year, we are offering additional tools and resources to guarantee that each exhibitor walks away from the event successful. We are the only industry show making this guarantee."
At this year's Affordable Meetings Mid-America, HSMAI also will offer an exhibitor referral program that allows exhibitors to earn monetary credit toward future events; an appointment-setting and prospect research tool called networkNow; and a new geographically segmented floor plan to help buyers easily locate exhibitors.
Finally, HSMAI has said it will give eligible exhibitors a list of at least 500 regional meeting and event planner prospects that they can target with pre-show promotions.
