HPN Global Hires Former Philadelphia CVB Chief

Hospitality Performance Network Global, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based site selection and meeting procurement company, has hired Tom Muldoon — longtime president of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau (PCVB) — as vice president of business development, it announced yesterday.

After 25 years at PCVB, during which time he was instrumental in building the Pennsylvania Convention Center — as well as its recently completed $800 million expansion — Muldoon retired in 2010 in order to start Muldoon & Associates, a hospitality and sports management consulting firm.

"Tom is a renowned Philadelphia civic and business leader," said HPN Global Chairman and CEO Bill Kilburg. "He's been in the hospitality industry for the past four decades and held numerous general manager positions in New York City, Philadelphia and San Francisco. He will represent HPN Global at industry trade shows including ASAE and PCMA. Tom will be an asset to our growing team."
