HITEC 2011 Tests New Exhibitor Benefit: Exhibiting Effectiveness Evaluation

Meeting planners who are looking for ways to enhance exhibitor value will find new inspiration at the 2011 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC), where exhibitors will receive complimentary onsite exhibit evaluations, the show's organizer, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), announced last month.

Part of a new program called E3 – Exhibiting Effectiveness Evaluation, the evaluations will be conducted by Jefferson Davis of Competitive Edge, popularly known as "the Tradeshow Turnaround Artist." During active exhibit hours, Davis and his team of exhibition industry professionals will observe exhibitors' booths, then offer a written evaluation that exhibitors can use to improve and enhance their tradeshow presence.

"While at first glance this new service seems like it only affects HITEC exhibitors, it is actually beneficial for all HITEC stakeholders," said HFTP CEO Frank Wolfe. "Ultimately, exhibitors will be able to evaluate their performance at the tradeshow and make adjustments for future shows, allowing attendees to have a more positive experience."

According to HFTP, HITEC is the world's largest hospitality technology exposition and conference. This year's show is taking place June 20-23 in Austin, Texas. For more information, visit www.HITEC.org.
