Freeman Launches Speakers Bureau

Event production and marketing company Freeman has created a new speakers bureau with which to serve its customers in the meetings industry, it announced this month. Called the Freeman Speakers Bureau, its goal is to offer Freeman staff as subject matter experts who can share trends and best practices as speakers at meetings and events.

"We recognize that the role of event planners has evolved from logistics managers to strategic marketers," said Chief Marketing Officer Toby Purdy. "For more than 85 years, Freeman has been an industry leader, often leveraging best practices learned with one client to help another client solve similar challenges in live events. The Speakers Bureau initiative provides access to leading-edge information and tested solutions in all phases of event development and execution — strategy, creative, innovation and logistics."

Using a web-based tool, meeting and event planners can request a speaker from Freeman's roster, which currently includes more than a dozen Freeman experts who have participated in panels and presentations at many of the industry's largest events, including meetings organized by the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR), the Healthcare Convention and Exhibitors Association (HCEA), the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
