Event management company Experient has taken two significant steps toward international expansion, it announced last week: It's established an exclusive North American partnership with INCON — a group of leading event management companies around the world that boast "global presence" and "local expertise," including MCI, CPO Hanser, Pacific World, Aim Group International and EGA — and it's opened new offices in Argentina, Brazil, India, South Africa, the United Kingdom and Russia.
"Today's announcements underline Experient's international expansion strategy by addressing the growing demand for international events and global event management systems including integrated on-the-ground expertise in key markets worldwide," said Experient CEO Jeff Price. "No other North American company offers that same network of experienced meeting industry resources worldwide under one banner as Experient can now provide."
Experient's new offices are part of phase one in an aggressive international growth phase that includes adding a select number of account representatives based in Argentina, Brazil, India, South Africa, United Kingdom and Russia, serving Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Uruguay, Chile, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique and Zambia.
"Having high caliber professionals based in the key markets will greatly strengthen our rich 40-year history and purchasing power while also customizing our capabilities to the unique needs and customer demands of these specific global markets," said Rick Binford, president of the event management services division of Experient. "Increasingly, our clients are seeking a truly global event management solution provider, and wherever our client's event business takes them, they can be confident that Experient's high performance standards will be elevated by our integrated service delivery systems regardless of the origin or destination of their events."
