DMC Terramar Acquires Cappa & Graham

Destination management companies Terramar of Mexico and Cappa & Graham of San Francisco have merged

Mexico-based destination management company (DMC) Terramar has acquired San Francisco-based DMC Cappa & Graham Inc., it announced last week.

Established in 1994, Terramar offers full-service event, destination, conference, and meeting services from its offices in Los Cabos, Cancún, and Panama. Cappa & Graham, meanwhile, has nearly 40 years of experience providing the same services in the Bay Area. Both companies are members of the DMC Network, a global community of accredited, owner-managed, legacy DMCs that cooperate with one another by sharing best practices, education, networking, and client referrals.

"As members of the DMC Network, we've enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Cappa & Graham," said Terramar Managing Partner Sunny Irvine. "I admire their reputation as an industry leader and have always been impressed with the level of creativity they offer. We're always looking for ways to continue growing the Terramar family and see this merger as the perfect fit for our brand."

Henceforth, Cappa & Graham Owner Cuevas will serve as general manager of Terramar's San Francisco office, where he will work closely with Irvine to map the merged organization's strategy and growth.

"Everyone at Cappa & Graham is beyond excited for this new adventure," Cuevas said. "We want clients to know it's business as usual in terms of daily operations, but now we're backed by the immense resources of a trusted partner with a global presence. Together with Terramar, we look forward to the years ahead."
