DMC Network Achieves 100 Percent ADMEI Accreditation

The DMC Network, a consortium of destination management companies across North America, has become the first such network to attain Accredited Destination Management Company (ADMC) Certification across 100 percent of its member companies, it announced this week.

“It’s an honor to be part of an organization that is comprised of dedicated professionals who are leaders in our industry,” says DMC Network Managing Director Dan Tavrytzky. “The ADMC certification recognizes the commitment of a destination management company to be the best in class, while providing clients the peace of mind and confidence that they are working with a professional organization. [Achieving] 100 percent accreditation clearly conveys the DMC Network’s commitment to being the best global DMC organization.”

According to the Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI), which administers it, the ADMC certification is awarded to DMCs that demonstrate “advanced knowledge and experience essential to the practice of destination management,” which helps meeting planners by identifying and qualifying standards for destination management service providers.

Says Laurie Stroll, president of Newport Hospitality and chairwoman of the DMC Network, “I am very proud to say that all our DMC Network members are accredited by ADMEI. We are the only consortium to set this high standard for all our DMCs. We truly are the best of the best.”
