The Convention Industry Council (CIC) has named its board leadership for 2015, it announced last week.
Serving as board chair will be David DuBois, president and CEO of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE). Other officers include: Bonnie Fedchock, executive director of the National Association for Catering & Events, who will serve as chair-elect; and Robert Gilbert, president and CEO of Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), who will serve as immediate past chair.
New and continuing on the board as members at large are:
• Vicki Hawarden, International Association of Venue Managers
• Kimberly Miles, American Hotel & Lodging Association
• Paul Van Deventer, Meeting Professionals International
• Kevin Hinton, Society for Incentive Travel Excellence
• Susan Robertson, ASAE
• Tina Wehmeir, AMC Institute
Finally, Joanne H. Joham of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) has been named CMP board chair.
