The Convention Industry Council (CIC) has named three new leaders to its Accepted Practice Exchange (APEX) Standards Committee: Kelly Peacy, senior vice president of education and events at the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA); Betsy Bondurant, president of Bondurant Consulting; and Michael Dominguez (pictured), senior vice president of hotel sales at MGM Resorts International.
According to APEX Standards Committee Chair Michael Owen, the new appointments will increase the committee's depth and skills as it takes on various issues and develops resources for the meetings industry.
"We are thrilled to have these three exemplary individuals join APEX," Owen said in a statement. "We believe their perspectives and breadth of knowledge of the issues affecting the convention and meetings industry is invaluable."
