CWT Meetings & Events, the meetings and events division of Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), has appointed Cindy Fisher to lead its business globally, it announced yesterday. Fisher previously was vice president of global sales for CWT in the Americas region; her new title is vice president of CWT Meetings & Events.
"Cindy brings a deep knowledge of CWT, a truly global set of experiences, demonstrated success in key leadership positions, and exceptional client relationships with her to this new role," said CWT Executive Vice President David Moran, to who Fisher will report. "With Cindy at the helm, we expect CWT Meetings & Events to continue to grow in our capability to offer clients with the right mix of creative service and analytical support to maximize return on their meetings and events."
Added Fisher, "I'm looking forward to working with the strong team already in place at CWT Meetings & Events, and collaborating on new, innovative ways to achieve our business results and our clients' strategic goals."
