Minneapolis -- Carlson Marketing today announced it has promoted Fay Beauchine to executive vice president of global meetings, incentives and events.
One of the country's largest meetings-management firms, Carlson said Beauchine is charged with doubling its meetings and events business within the next few years.
Formerly senior vice president of enterprise strategic account management, Beauchine replaces Robbin Rouillard, who left Carlson to pursue other interests.
"Fay is widely recognized around the world as a true leader in the meeting, incentive, and travel industry," said Jim Schroer, chief executive of Carlson Marketing, in announcing Beauchine's promotion.
Prior to joining Carlson Marketing, in 2005, Beauchine served as vice president of sales and customer care for Northwest Airlines.
Carlson Marketing is part of the Carlson Companies, which also owns the Carlson Wagonlit travel agency and hotel brands such as Radisson, Regent, and Park Plaza.
