Minneapolis -- Today Carlson Marketing announced it has acquired TQ3Navigant Performance Group (NPG) in the United States, continuing the company’s growth in the meetings, incentive, and event marketing business. Because Carlson is privately owned, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
TQ3Navigant Performance Group is a national company and is a recognized leader in meeting, incentive and event management. NPG has 100 employees spread among offices in Parsippany, N.J., Marlboro, Ma., and Minneapolis, Mn. The company's meeting consolidation and meeting and conference management services will add depth to a suite of Carlson offerings that already include incentive programs, business meetings and event marketing.
According to Carlson, this strategic acquisition increases Carlson Marketing’s Meetings & Events team by 25 percent. “We see the merging of Carlson Marketing and NPG as an outstanding opportunity to grow and expand our Meetings & Events business worldwide, and as an opportunity that not only includes NPG’s current client base of Fortune 1000 companies, but also its team of gifted associates,” said Jim Schroer, president and chief executive officer, Carlson Marketing. “NPG’s talents and expertise overlay very nicely with our meetings & events services offerings.
