Caesars Entertainment's meetings and events team has a new executive responsible for diversity and corporate social responsibility, the company announced on April 26.
Anthony McCrary Sr., a strategic account director, brings more than 20 years of experience in diversity and community relations to the role, which will see him serve as a "central point of contact in collaboration with the chief sustainability officer, and social impact and inclusion vice president," the company said. He will also work with internal and external support teams to build partnerships that support the sustainability and inclusion efforts of Caesars Entertainment.
"The goal of launching this new role is to align with the strong corporate social responsibility values of Caesars Entertainment," said Michael Massari, Caesars Entertainment's chief sales officer. "By adding this position, we will provide a single point of contact for all meeting and event needs, working in collaboration with our chief sustainability officer."
McCrary is involved with many community organizations, and currently serves on the advisory board of the Jesse Bethel Law Academy, which "exposes at-risk high school students to the legal profession in California." He recently finished a two-year term as commissioner of the Solano County, CA, Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission, which works to reduce recidivism among juvenile offenders.
