Caesars Adds Planner Rewards Program

Caesars Entertainment's Total Rewards Meetings & Events loyalty program is based on its gaming loyalty program

Caesars Entertainment today rolled out a new loyalty rewards program for meeting planners based on its Total Rewards loyalty program for gaming clients.

The Total Rewards Meetings & Events program offers participating planners one Reward Credit for every dollar billed to the master account, with no cap on the points that can be earned at any meeting.

“This is a first in the gaming industry, and it is company-wide,” said Michael Massari, vice president of meeting sales and operations of Las Vegas Meetings by Caesars Entertainment. “Points can be earned or used at all of our properties, not just those in Las Vegas.”

Those points can be spent on rewards ranging from stays at Caesars properties to dining and spa treatments to merchandise, said Massari. Or, “planners can spend up to 25 percent of their past points on the next meeting,” he adds.

While other hospitality companies have loyalty rewards programs for planners, “most hotel companies have a cap per meeting,” Massari said. “We think we have a winner here.”

Because the program uses the framework of the Caesars gaming loyalty program, planners can also earn tier credits good for Platinum or Diamond status — Gold status is earned on enrollment — which bring benefits like discounts and access to private lounges and special lines at restaurants, clubs, and checkout at Caesars' properties. Every $5 spent earns one Tier Credit, with Platinum status at 4,000 credits and Diamond status at 11,000.

Caesars Entertainment has eight properties in Las Vegas—Bally’s Las Vegas, Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Flamingo Las Vegas, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Imperial Palace Las Vegas, Paris Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, and Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino— as well as meetings hotels and resorts in Reno and Lake Tahoe, NV, Atlantic City, NJ, New Orleans, and, Tunica, MS.
