Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has partnered with KDS, a provider of travel and expense management systems, to enhance its online travel management solution: CWT Online, powered by KDS.
CWT Online allows users to easily search for, book, and manage travel and expenses online. A joint investment by CWT and KDS will update the solution in the coming months with new features and benefits, such as integration with CWT's mobile app, CWT To GoTM; a next-level integration with CWT Portal, CWT's main web-based traveler hub, which holds traveler profiles and booking details; new virtual payment options; and expanded hotel content.
A new feature already added is the integration of CWT Document Bank, which automatically compiles all air tickets that go unused by travelers so they can be reused on appropriate journeys, which could result in major savings to clients.
"CWT Online, powered by KDS, is integral to CWT's digital vision and has been receiving incredibly positive feedback from clients across the world," said Nick Vournakis, senior vice president, Global Marketing, CWT. "Our focus is now on further developing the cost-saving mechanisms we know are important to our clients while fusing technology and customer service, so we can achieve our vision of being with our customers at every step of their journey."
Added KDS CEO Dean Forbes, "The relationship between CWT and KDS is much more than just a distribution partnership. By joining investments KDS and CWT are going even further in providing our clients with the best travel technology."
