CSI DMC has acquired Baskow and Associates, a destination management company, based in Las Vegas. The company's new name is CSI Baskow. Jaki Baskow, CEO and founder of Baskow and Associates, will stay on as president of business development and talent. She will also continue to run Las Vegas Speakers Bureau.
The acquisition will expand CSI DMC's event management services into Las Vegas, which currently include Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Orlando, Miami, Dallas, Nashville, Chicago, the US Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas.
Baskow emphasized partnership would bring expanded resources to clients holding events in Las Vegas.
"For more than 40 years, we have worked with clients seamlessly to create one-of-a-kind, memorable experiences that can only be had in Las Vegas," she said. "I am thrilled to share this new chapter with CSI."
CSI DMC, which began in 1987 as Capitol Services, in Washington, D.C., has grown to produce an average of 600 programs annually in the United States for corporations, associations, incentive groups, and government agencies. It currently employs 85 event professionals.
