In response to client demands, meeting and event management agency BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) has added seven new markets -- Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Ukraine -- to its Global Partner Network, further strengthening its global presence, it announced yesterday.
Launched last year, BCD M&E's Global Partner Network allows the company to assist its clients with organizing international events by leveraging a global network of local, on-the-ground partners who have been carefully screened and vetted by the company. BCD M&E's clients benefit by having simultaneous access to global resources and local expertise with which to navigate regional cultures and nuances.
Since its inception, the Global Partner Network has added more than 20 partners across Europe, Asia, and Latin America, increasing BCD M&E's global resources to more than 1,000 personnel.
"The growth of our Global Partner Network hasn't slowed since the initiative began in 2015," said Jeroen Duiker, vice president of BCD M&E's Global Partner Network. "Our customers need our resources throughout the world so we've been investing in our company and people to provide the scope and, even more importantly, local knowledge they need."
