Association of Corporate Travel Executives Names New Executive Director

The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has named Greeley Koch its new executive director, effective Dec. 1, 2012, it announced last night at the opening general session of the ACTE Global Education Conference, taking place Oct. 14-16 in Rome. Koch replaces Ron DiLeo, who announced his resignation in June and will become president and CEO of AirPlus International Inc. USA.

"I'm thrilled to turn the executive director reins over to Greeley for the next stage of ACTE success on behalf of the board, our global members and sponsors," said Suzanne Neufang, president of the ACTE board of directors. "Greeley's global general management and relationship building skills, along with his desire for what corporate travel industry professionals need to further their careers, build partnerships and drive business results, make him our top choice to advance the mission of ACTE. Greeley brings with him a passion for the corporate travel industry and a wealth of experience and perspectives, including that of a corporate buyer, TMC supplier, government planner and consultant. He has also been a tireless volunteer leader in the association, as past president and treasurer."

Koch currently serves as director of strategy development at Acquis Consulting Group, a boutique consulting firm. With more than 20 years of experience in the corporate travel industry, his past experience includes positions with the Office of the Governor of Illinois, Abbott Laboratories, Bank of America, TQ3Navigant and TRX Inc.

"ACTE is at an inflection point in its history and the changing demographics of the industry are going to drive change that the association must lead," Koch said. "I am excited to be part of this period of change to continue to help ACTE innovate and establish industry-leading mechanisms that others will want to duplicate. It is my goal that anyone attending any ACTE event around the world will not only have insight for what to do for today, but more importantly insight into what they need for tomorrow."

Added Neufang, "ACTE has never been in a better position to offer game-changing global education and networking opportunities, thanks to Ron DiLeo's leadership these past two-and-a-half years, our talented ACTE staff around the world and an insightful, supportive board. We are excited to move forward under Greeley's leadership."
