To help meeting professionals, association executives, and incentive travel specialists identify meeting destinations and venues around the world, Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has published its "ALHI 2017 Global Meeting Guide," it announced yesterday.
A sales and marketing organization with 20 offices across the United States and Canada, ALHI currently represents more than 250 luxury hotels and resorts that collectively have more than 135,000 rooms and 10 million square feet of meeting space. Each of its members is showcased in its new guide, which has 222 pages devoted to photos, descriptions, and key facts about ALHI member properties.
"This comprehensive new 222-page guide is a very valuable resource for meeting professionals, association executives, and incentive travel specialists seeking distinctive luxury-level hotels and/or resorts for their meetings and programs -- both big and small -- worldwide," said ALHI President Jim Schultenover. "We are often told that our annual guide is an essential tool for meeting planners in helping them identify luxury-level and upper-upper tier venues for their meetings and programs. Information about more than 75 properties in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia is new to this year's guide, which also features information about 28 properties in the Caribbean, 23 cruise ships, and destination management companies (DMCs) in more than 100 locations worldwide.
"The guide is very useful in helping to identify and then narrow the options for programs of all types -- whether it is an annual convention, special incentive program, large or small meeting, important board meeting, or executive retreat," Schultenover concluded.
